Exciting night at cheerleading practice!!

Jasmine has practice every Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays. She loves Cheerleading but tonight was the first night of practice since school started. Jasmine was tired and did not want to go. This is the first time she complained about going to practice since she started cheering. I explained to her that she is committed to cheering and that it's important that she goes or she will be letting everyone on her squad down. So we pulled up to the school and she started to cry. Let me also say that I go to every single practice and sit and watch when the practices are outside. They have always practice outside until tonight because it was raining outside. Parents are not allowed in the school when practices are going on, so she knew I could not watch her practice. Also, I had my first leader meeting for Girl scouts. I told her that her dad would be there around 7:00 to watch the end of her practice and to be there to get her. She then told me she was sick and was not feeling well and she thought she might throw up. I told her she was fine about 10 Min's ago and that it was important for her to go. She started to cry, at that point I knew there was something going on and she wasn't sick or tired. She then proceeded to tell me that she was scared to stay there alone without me and she didn't want me to leave. I felt bad and gave her a big hug. I told her that her coach and the coaches assistant were adults and that they would be there the whole time and that they had my number if they needed me. I told her that they would look out for her because that was their job. She was OK with it and I took her in the school and left to go to my meeting. Half way through my meeting I found out that they were doing stunts tonight at practice (figures the one practice I don't go to they do stunts. Jasmine was extremely excited to tell me all about it because she was the flyer. She said a lot of the little ones were scared to do it. She was extremely proud of herself and I was extremely proud of her too. They also did tumbling tonight and she was so happy with herself. I cant say enough how proud I am of her. She is wonderful in School, she is an excellent cheerleader and most of all a wonderful daughter.

Jasmine's 1st day of School

Well I am pretty new to blogging but thought it would be a great idea to write down all the exciting things that happen to me and my family. Today is a big day for all of us, Jasmine's 1st day of second grade is today. I still get chocked up on her first day of school and probably always will until she is married. My family are my world and I would do just about anything for them.

So the day started at 6:00 am this morning. I took off of work today so I can be here for Jasmine when she gets out of school. We put her new outfit on her. She looked so cute in her jean skirt and her Pink collar shirt. She wore her Sketcher high tops and we straightened her hair. She wanted to look her best. We put on her new necklace that went perfect with her outfit.
She wanted to pack her lunch today because she was unsure what they were having for lunch. I wrote a little note that said " I hope you have a GREAT first day of school and I love you so much" and I was able to sneak it into her lunch box. I hope she gets excited when she reads it. I have two hours until she comes home. I will let you know tonight how her day went, please keep your fingers crossed :)

Well, the day went great. Me, Brian and Taylor went down to the bus stop to wait for her. We were extremely excited to hear all about her day. Well, when it was 15 mins after the bus was suppose to come, I started to freak out a little bit, then 20 mins went by and I couldnt stop worrying, so I called the school. Her school is wonderful, they called the bus driver right away and assured me that the bus was running late and that the bus driver said she will be at my stop in 5 mins. I was definitly reassured. So the moment finally came.... She was home from school. I have been waiting for this moment all day. To hear the good parts and the bad parts of her first day of school. She was full of smiles when she got off the bus, which brought a huge smile to my face as well. She jumped in the car and started about her day. She loved her teacher, and was happy with everyone that was in her class. She knows 3 people in her class. Two of them came to her Birthday party. She told me she was a little embarrased about the note, she was happy to see it but didnt want a boy that was sitting next to her at lunch see it so she said she read it in her lunch box. She said that she has 5 different folders this year for her classes. She is such a big girl now.
I cant believe how time flys. Thats why it is so important to take each day at a time and enjoy it. Most people dont actually stop and enjoy their lives. I can admit I was that person, but not anymore. My kids and my husband are my life and Im going to enjoy life to the fullest.
Im going to blog daily, weekly or lets just say as much as I can about my journey and my family and my exciting adventure.
