Exciting night at cheerleading practice!!

Jasmine has practice every Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays. She loves Cheerleading but tonight was the first night of practice since school started. Jasmine was tired and did not want to go. This is the first time she complained about going to practice since she started cheering. I explained to her that she is committed to cheering and that it's important that she goes or she will be letting everyone on her squad down. So we pulled up to the school and she started to cry. Let me also say that I go to every single practice and sit and watch when the practices are outside. They have always practice outside until tonight because it was raining outside. Parents are not allowed in the school when practices are going on, so she knew I could not watch her practice. Also, I had my first leader meeting for Girl scouts. I told her that her dad would be there around 7:00 to watch the end of her practice and to be there to get her. She then told me she was sick and was not feeling well and she thought she might throw up. I told her she was fine about 10 Min's ago and that it was important for her to go. She started to cry, at that point I knew there was something going on and she wasn't sick or tired. She then proceeded to tell me that she was scared to stay there alone without me and she didn't want me to leave. I felt bad and gave her a big hug. I told her that her coach and the coaches assistant were adults and that they would be there the whole time and that they had my number if they needed me. I told her that they would look out for her because that was their job. She was OK with it and I took her in the school and left to go to my meeting. Half way through my meeting I found out that they were doing stunts tonight at practice (figures the one practice I don't go to they do stunts. Jasmine was extremely excited to tell me all about it because she was the flyer. She said a lot of the little ones were scared to do it. She was extremely proud of herself and I was extremely proud of her too. They also did tumbling tonight and she was so happy with herself. I cant say enough how proud I am of her. She is wonderful in School, she is an excellent cheerleader and most of all a wonderful daughter.
